GODDESS COLLECTION

nullWe created our Goddess Collection for women everywhere to connect with the ancient wisdom, power, and creative force of the Divine Feminine. As many cultures have traditionally held women as “2nd best”, we felt it was time to reignite and reunite with this divine energy present in every woman to help women find their own voice and LIVE THEIR TRUTH. Like the goddesses on our tees, every woman has a story, a passionate mission, beautiful gifts and unique talents. Like the goddesses our tees, every woman has the potential to give birth to new life, ideas and works that can CHANGE THE WORLD.

The goddesses on our tees come from the Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist traditions which place a great significance on the role of the goddess. We consider each garment in our Goddess Collection a way to honor the goddess and the Divine Feminine. The pieces in this collection can be worn to invoke the goddess’ qualities that are embodied in each woman for inspiration, assistance, manifestation, protection, or simply to enjoy the beauty of who you and the goddess are! Through our Goddess Collection it is our wish that women around the world recognize in themselves the potent strength of the Divine Feminine and align with their unique mission, inspirations and AWESOME CREATIVE POWERS. We wish for both women and men to embrace this sacred energy and help bring our Planet back into balance.

Tara

Tara is the considered the “Mother of Liberation” or “Universal Mother of Compassion” and is the most recognized goddess in Tibetan Buddhism. Legend has her known as one of the earliest feminists as she challenged those who thought there could be only male preachers of Buddhism and took a vow to be reborn over and over again in female form until all beings were free from suffering. Her desire to save all beings from sorrow is said to be even stronger than a mother’s love for her children. She is said to hear the cries of others in their misery and is tireless in bringing solace to those in troubled times and pointing out the way to inner peace and great happiness.

Tara is said to manifest in 21 forms. Each one is a different color and energy and represents different aspects of the same quality, compassion. In all forms she is there to relieve the sufferings of body, heart, and mind. Her grace and beauty inspire all those who gaze upon her to take action that will lead to greater happiness.

Green Tara

Green Tara, with her boundless energy, is the goddess of Compassion in Action. She steps into the world in action, offering relief and protection to all beings from unfortunate circumstances. She shines her bright light on the world with enthusiasm and confidence and she leads others to higher ground. Green Tara accepts everyone with unconditional love and has vowed to be reborn over and over in female form to to help all beings cross over from suffering to happiness.

Green Tara is said to hear "all the cries of the world." One calls on her for immediate assistance with both worldly and spiritual matters. Her greatest wish is to help you transform. She is youthful, swift, courageous, playful and has feminine softness.

Green Tara's posture of ease with her right leg extended illustrates her readiness to spring into action. Her left leg is folded in the contemplative position on the lotus. The two together symbolize wisdom and art. Her left hand, in the gesture of granting refuge holds the stem of a blue lotus that floats over her left shoulder as a symbol of purity and power and spiritual unfolding. With her right hand she makes the boon-granting gesture.

White Tara

White Tara is the Goddess of Compassion and represents the motherly aspect of compassion. Just like when a
mother's mighty powers of love and compassion manifest
when she is in touch with her child, White Tara's powerful love is everpresent as she recognizes that we are all ONE. She is mature and wise and her love heals and brings strength, longevity and beauty. Her white color indicates purity and Truth and people pray to her for removal of hindrances, long-life and wisdom.

White Tara has seven eyes: the two usual eyes, plus an eye in the center of her forehead and eyes in each of her hands and feet making up the seven eyes of knowledge. These indicate that she sees all suffering and hears all cries for help in the human world using both ordinary and psychic or extraordinary means of perception. Her eyes symbolize the vigilance of her compassion.

Lakshmi

nullLakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth and prosperity, both material and spiritual. She is the embodiment of beauty, grace, and charm. Her expression and presence is always calm and loving and she is known as "the Mother of the Universe". “Lakshmi'' is derived from the Sanskrit word Laksme, meaning goal. Lakshmi, therefore, represents the goal of life, which includes worldly as well as spiritual prosperity. Her mission is generosity and to bestow prosperity to honest seekers. Some of her gifts of prosperity include love, family, fertility, health, happiness, financial freedom, spiritual virtuousness and irresistible beauty. Wearing her image and connecting with Lakshmi sends a strong message that you are ready for abundance in your life!

Sarasvati

null

Sarasvati is the Hindu and Buddhist goddess of the arts: music, painting, sculpture, dance, poetry and writing. She is the patroness of learning and knowledge. She is the goddess of eloquence of speech – words pour from her like a sweet flowing river. Her name actually translates as “flowing water.” Some credit her with presenting us the gift of writing so that her songs could be written down and preserved. She symbolizes the independent woman as a thinker and gifted creator. It is believed that musicians, artists, writers, and students are all part of her family and under her care. Wearing her image sends a strong message to the goddess and recognizes all other women as thinkers and gifted creators.
