OUR VISION
Gandhi has been quoted with saying, “be the change you wish to see in the world.” At Lotus Blossom Style, we wish to see all people living their truth and living with a respect and understanding that we are all connected and every act we take has an effect on our entire Planet.
It is our vision that wearing our garments made from earth-friendly materials and methods designed with ancient sacred images and positive, inspirational messages will have a healthy and positive effect on the wearer and all those they come into contact with.
We vision that as more and more people wear our garments and more and more businesses commit themselves to environmentally sustainable and socially responsible and respectful practices, others will be inspired and we will all move toward living a healthier, happier and more peaceful life in deep relation and connection to our sacred Mother Earth and everyone around the Planet.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe that the clothing we choose to buy and wear is an extremely significant way of expressing our beliefs and what we value in our lives. Each one of us has the power to effect our planet positively or negatively. Each thought, each action, and each stitch of clothing we wear has the possibility of having a positive or negative effect on ourselves, our families, our neighbors, our city, our country, our world and our beloved Mother Earth. Every idea, every word, every action has an effect on our connected world. We at Lotus Blossom Style have chosen to take positive actions through our earth-friendly materials and practices, inspirational slogans and spiritual designs for a positive effect on our Planet.
Just as the ancient Indian text, the Bhagavad Gita, suggests -- we believe it is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of someone else's life with perfection. Unfortunately, in today’s fast-moving world we find that many people are cut off from their natural rhythms and natural powers of intuition and wisdom. We believe that because many have lost touch with these natural gifts, they are not living in their truth and therefore not moving as they could into their full potential. At Lotus Blossom Style, it is our aim to put people back in touch with their natural gifts, strengths, and truth of who they are.
We firmly believe that we must serve as allies for one another in order to journey together toward a more conscious, healthy and peacemaking society. We believe that it is each one of our responsibility to help each other be the best we can be to live our potential!
OUR DESIGNS

Our designs are based on the ancient teachings of Yoga and Tibetan Buddhism. Inspired by these traditions, we felt it was time to bring the ancient symbols of these traditions beyond the temples, ashrams, and museums onto our modern-day clothing to benefit from their teachings. Whether you are a practitioner of yoga or Buddhism or not, these symbols and teachings carry the basic and profound message that we are all connected and that the health of ourselves is the health of our Planet.
We believe that images, words and symbols are energetically charged and have a significant impact on our consciousness both on a material and soul level. The designs, images and messages on the Lotus Blossom Style clothing are offered both to the wearer and the seer to read, contemplate, and return to their deepest knowing.

OUR HISTORY
I have been guided by visions and dreams most of my life. I have traveled from place to place, teacher to teacher receiving teachings that have helped me awaken to my own potential and receive clarity on my life’s purpose so that I can serve others.
In July 2007 I spent a few days brainstorming names for my new yoga class for preschool children and their parents. I kept on coming up with names that included “lotus” in the title, i.e. little lotuses, blooming lotuses, lotus rising. Although I felt extremely connected to the lotus as it has been a symbol which has represented to me growing, self-development, and coming into one’s potential, I ended up deciding on the name “Twinkle Twinkle Yoga” to convey that there would be a lot of music and singing and that I was inviting children and their parents to “let their light shine!” Feeling a deep resonance with the lotus however, I felt that I would be using “lotus” for something else. At the time, I had no idea what that would be.
A few days later I was putting on a beloved soft cozy tank top that I bought just a month before when visiting my family in Jamestown, Rhode Island. The tank top had a peace symbol in the front with the words underneath “Don’t Fight”. As I put that cozy tank on I felt so happy and at peace that a shirt was celebrating and making public my internal beliefs. The feeling I had in this tank top made me want to make more shirts and other clothing that was imbued with messages of peace, love and light.
At this same time, I was reading a book where the author talks about “thinking big”. I had recently finished up the school year as a preschool teacher and made the decision to decline returning for the next year as I knew a big shift was coming for me even though I did not know exactly what it was. It was hard to make sense of it all at the time, but I kept getting the intuitive message and vision that it was time to move on and create something with a BIGGER voice and reach out to MORE people. As I stood there in front of my mirror wearing that peace top, it came to me in a lightning bolt that I wanted to start my own clothing line that was based on the messages of peace, understanding, and truth. Along with this message, I wanted this clothing line to inspire self-expression, creativity, and living one’s dreams. Alas, the birth of Lotus Blossom Style.
IN GRATITUDE
My study and practice of Yoga and Tibetan Buddhism has informed much of my adult life. I am forever grateful for these practices and the many wonderful teachers who have led the way. It is my intention to bring the blessings that I have received through these practices to you through Lotus Blossom Style.
Sincerely,
Tabby Biddle
